Mrs McKeown's message to children at home 1 April 2020 (by Martin Coyne (m.coyne)) |
Dear children
It is now over a week since we have been in school together so today I thought my update would be for you .
It is very strange not having you all here at the moment or seeing you at the gate in a morning . We only have around 15 children altogether each day. Your teachers are taking it in turns to come into school so they are not in every day. When you email your teachers they are probably replying to you from the safety of their own home. I know your friends who have to come into school are missing you.
Apart from the activities your teachers are sending through to you I think it would help your adults if you could wash up, set the table, keep your bedroom clean and tidy and maybe help in the garden. You may even learn how to ride your bike on your own, or learn a new language or any other skill. I would like to hear what you have been up to .
Please remember though:
1. to keep washing your hands
2. if you go out stay with your adults
3. get plenty of exercise
4 give your adults big hugs and smiles.
I will be in touch again next week . .Look after yourself and I look forward to seeing you all again very soon.
