Just a reminder. If your child was initially allocated a place for our emergency childcare provision then the place will stay open until the crisis is over. However a number of parents who are working from home on certain days have chosen to keep their child at home safe with them and if they cannot find any solution to childcare take their childs place here as last resort.
That is sensible.
We are still waiting for direction from LCC and DFE over Easter provision. I would like to prepare you for the idea if we open we will only be operating normal school hours ie 8.55-3.20.
Discovery Vine will close tonight and First steps do not do before and after school club care. I can signpost you to bluebells nursery who have informed me that although they are closing tonight will keep their sister nursery Fernbank on Sharoe Green Lane open. This will be open from 7.30-6.00 . If you wish to contact Bluebells on 01772 798034 they have a few places available at Fernbank at a cost.
School dinners- we have just been informed by the catering team at LCC that if our daily number of hot school dinners is below 20 each day they will be providing a packed lunch only.
