Good evening.
Our Text Message server has crashed
Due to the late announcement schools are only open to critical workers from tomorrow we have taken the decision to keep Longsands fully closed on Tuesday and reopen to the critical workers and vulnerable children on Wednesday 6th January.
I realise this is very short notice for your childcare and it has been a hard decision to make but I hope you understand the back work we have to complete to make it right for your children.
Mr Coyne will be in touch with you once the lists are collated and I will be in touch to finalise arrangements for Wednesday onwards. This will include devices being available to the vulnerable children. There will be no remote learning planned for Tuesday but it will begin in earnest from Wednesday .
