Together Everyone Achieves More
Mrs McKeown’s Update Friday 10th July10 July 2020 (by Martin Coyne (m.coyne)) |
As promised here are our proposals for September . Hopefully they will not need to be changed for our first day back. We have used the latest Government document to give us guidelines on how we can cater for our children . It may seem confusing at first but hopefully with your continued cooperation and support it will all be clear and easy to follow.
Parents this is what we ask of you:
Reception and Year 1 children will be coming into school at 8.55 and be picked up at 3.20.
Year 2 children will be coming into school at 9.10 and be picked up at 3.30
This relies on you being punctual at both ends of the day. I understand some of the children will be using breakfast and after school club. I would appreciate it if you mention these times to them.
Years 3 and 6 will be coming into school at 8.55 and be picked up at 3.20.
Years 4 and 5 will be coming into school at 9.10 and be picked up at 3.30.
I understand siblings may have different times of coming into school and being picked up but I am sure this time of 15 minutes would be acceptable to you all.
The rest of our timings will be within school time. Each class will have their own playtime and lunchtime slots during the day so children can stay in their class bubbles.
In school we will continue with the strict regime of handwashing at regular intervals especially when children come into school, the school will be well ventilated and there will be two cleaning sessions of tables throughout the day .
We will not be having any whole school assemblies for at least the first half term.
On a lighter note we have the results of the virtual sports week.
In first place we have Anderton, second is Finney , third is Flintoff and fourth is Arkwright . The points collected will start off our sporting total in September . Well done to those who took part . I know the key worker children really enjoyed the week.
As always if you have any questions you can email me or give me a ring.
Have a lovely weekend.
Mrs McKeown
