Mrs McKeown's Update Tuesday 30th June30 June 2020 (by Martin Coyne (m.coyne)) |
100 days to the day since Lockdown!!
If we continue to follow the guidelines we will hopefully move forward without being in the situation Leicester has had to return to. Please keep us informed if you have been to any areas that may have a higher R rate so we can monitor our situation at school.
There is a message from Key suppliers on the uniform part of our website if you click on their logo.
Year1 will be back with us from tomorrow for the rest of the week. As you already know the routine of entering and exiting KS1 playground we will only put out the waiting spots to ensure distances are kept. Thankyou for following the guidelines .
On Thursday we will hopefully be given the national plan on reopening in September . There has been a leak already which you may or may not have seen. If you Google search TES 16 point September school opening plan you will find the outlines of what possibly maybe happening. For a while now the teachers have been having transition meetings which we would normally have at this end of the term to discuss the children, their progress, their needs and starting points. This year has been a little different as there will be gaps in learning that need to be filled in September. A lot of children have fully engaged with their planned activities so this gap will not be as wide. Please keep going with the activities set. It will help in September .
Keep in touch
Mrs McKeown
