Mrs McKeown's Message to Children at Home Wednesday 17th June17 June 2020 (by Martin Coyne (m.coyne)) |
Morning children
I have a couple of challenges for you.
As your teachers have sent you some wellbeing activities this week , I will add to it by asking you to make a happy face as big as you can using household objects. If you send me a photo, I will see who has made the largest face and let you know. There may even be a prize for it!!!! So I can gauge the size you may want to stand/sit alongside it so it will give me an idea.
Your second challenge will also be mentioned to you by your teachers. It is the Summer reading challenge organised by the Library service. Have a look at
www.sillysquad.org.uk website for more information The challenge starts on the 27th June so keep an eye on the website for more information.
Your teachers will be letting you know when they are in school so if you want to ring them or wave at the gate let them know and they will be ready for you !!!
